Our team of experienced consultants provide individual assistance to help job seekers overcome employment barriers and secure meaningful employment.
If you are entering the workforce for the first time, or re-entering, and have a disability, injury, learning difficulty or medical condition then Disability Employment Services are the right employment service for you. We will work with you to maximise your employment potential.
To be eligible to access our services you must:
- Have a recognised disability or medical condition
- Be able to work at least 8 based on your Centrelink participation requirements.
- Require on-going support for at least 6 months in order to remain in employment
We assist Job Seekers from all walks of life including:
- Professionals
- School leavers and graduates
- Students and people seeking part-time work
- People returning to the workforce
- Unskilled workers
- Trades people
Some of the roles filed by previous job seekers are in industries including, hospitality, retail, sales, administration, customer service and call centre plus many blue collar sections.
Our program has six main phases:
- Pre-employment training
- Job Search support
- Job Matching
- Skills Training
- Employer marketing
- Ongoing job support - Post Placement
Our experienced Consultants utilise their extensive employer networks to access a broad range of vacancies. We assist job seekers to secure employment in positions that match their skills and experience.
Pre-employment Training
We are committed to assisting job seekers develop a broad range of skills allowing them to be competitive in today's job market. Our service includes comprehensive pre-employment training such as:
- Developing a professional resume
- Building job search skills and techniques
- Creating application letters
- Improving interview skills
- Providing interview support
Job Search Support
As a valued client, one of our Consultants will assist you to access job search tools. Together you will be able to search for employment over the internet, papers, and type application letters and use our fax machines.
Our Consultants will work with you in making contact with prospective employers to negotiate vacancies on your behalf.
On-The-Job Support
At Workbridge we believe in ensuring you make an easy transition into your new job. When you gain employment, in the initial stages, one of our Consultants will work with you and support you in the workplace. If required, we can offer ongoing support and assistance. We will also provide you with advice and information to ensure the employer meets their obligations.

Jobs in Jeopardy
We also provide a service know as ‘Jobs in Jeopardy' which assists people at risk of losing their job due to their disability or medical condition and/or lack of understanding and support in the workplace. We assist them to either remain in employment or find another job, if necessary.

School to Work Transition Program
Workbridge offers a FREE school to work transition program to school leavers. The program covers:
- Career planning
- Skills assessment
- Personal development
- Active job searching and marketing
- Intensive support on and off the job once employed
As well as having a focus on investigating apprenticeship and training opportunities.
